1908 to 1988
Richardson Mfg. Co. was founded in February of 1908 by E. D. Richardson in Cawker City, Kansas. The company grew to meet the needs of the farmer and remained in family hands for 80 years, until it was sold to Sunflower Mfg. of Beloit, Kansas. Sunflower has continued to use the Cawker City factory to augment their Beloit facilities. AGCO, who subsequently acquired Sunflower, has continued to upgrade the factory in Cawker to meet their high standards of production by incorporating the latest technologies.
